How do I find a name?

Bustaname

As we discussed in another article, we think you should look for a .com first, then you look for the .co.uk after that - if both are available, register both (or get us at Krann Web Design to do that for you).

To save time, there's a great little site by the name of 'Bustaname' which allows you to type in the words you want in your domain and it will look and check to see what .coms are available with your words in it. It's actually quite fun to find out what is out there!

Bustaname is not correct all the time, but it is by far the quickest way I have found at discovering whether a domain name could be available. Try it out!

Here's the link: http://www.bustaname.com/

At Krann, when you host with us, we register both the .co.uk and .com versions of your name and renew them for you, annually and automatically, as part of our web hosting service.

If you already have a site and you just want one annual bill which gives your website a home, works OK, ensures your domain names are renewed, sorts our your email addresses and is always there to give you advice, give Krann a call. (We design websites too, by the way!)
